What information is needed before a solvent filler is selected?
Send the current product safety data, site classification where relevant, product and cleaning temperatures, container and closure, fill range, output and product-feed arrangement. The protection and material requirements must be reviewed for the project.
Does corrosion-resistant construction establish ATEX suitability?
No. Chemical compatibility and explosion protection are separate requirements. Flammability and hazardous-area classification require their own site-specific review before machinery is selected.
Why should the complete filling arrangement be reviewed?
The product vessel, pump, hoses, nozzles, conveyor, controls, extraction and downstream equipment form connected interfaces. The quotation and project review should identify the equipment boundary and responsibilities.
